KCI delivers form, function and beauty to interior spaces

The Cove brings together a collection of experts in their respective fields to deliver a residential experience that transcends the everyday.

One such expert is Kate Cooper Interiors (KCI) who has curated the look and feel of the development’s communal areas.

Kate Cooper - Interior Designer / Decorator for The Cove

KCI founder Kate Cooper says she is motivated by creating cohesive and functional spaces, whilst also producing something beautiful.

In collaboration with a team of interior designers and architects, Kate worked on the residences and the common spaces at The Cove.

“Creating a timeless but aspiring design was an important component of the brief as well as ensuring the form and function was balanced in key areas like the lobbies," Kate said.

“I worked with the interior design team for this project alongside the architect.

“The look and feel for this multi residential project was to create a textured neutral palette that had an elevated feel to it.

“Having the opportunity to also work on the interior decorating or styling of the project was so exciting as it adds the finishing touches to an already beautiful space.

“I have combined neutrals with subdued tones of blue, green and rust for the common spaces and the display apartment.

“Layers of soft furnishings including wallpapers create a homely feel which is so important in a multi residential project.

“Creating social spaces in a commercial setting with a residential lens was certainly the focus as a designer,’’ she said.
